Empowering Futures: Why your support for women and girls in Uganda matters
Investing in women and girls in Uganda means building a brighter, more equitable future. By providing education, healthcare, and training opportunities, we can break the cycle of poverty, promote gender equality, and create strong, resilient communities. Our mission is to empower and support women in Uganda who are facing challenges such as poverty, domestic violence, and lack of education and resources by providing them with a safe and nurturing environment, as well as the education and resources necessary to become self-sufficient.
Goal 1: Break the Poverty Cycle- We aim to break the cycle of poverty and inequality. Your support will help us provide housing, food, healthcare, education, and life skills training to these women, giving them the tools they need to build a better future filled with JOY for themselves and any future generations.
Goal 2: Community- The main goal of Re-Joyce is to build relationships amongst people. Spreading smiles and joy with all those we encounter.
Goal 3: Opportunity- Many of the people in Uganda struggle due to a lack of education and resources. Our goal is to provide them with the tools to change their circumstances and open opportunities that would otherwise not be available to them. Technical training and educational opportunities are the main ways we can provide opportunity. We hope to also alleviate rent and childcare obligations by providing safe shelter and childcare while mothers pursue working to earn their own income.
Goal 4: Empowerment- Our goal is to empower women in their own communities to help themselves and others. Forming mentoring relationships amongst women to teach practical and technical skills empower young women and mothers to build a community of support while also becoming self-sufficient.
